Knitting Blanket with Puffy - Braid Knitting Technique

Knitting with Puffy is easy and fun! You can make a baby blanket in just one evening. 

Here you will find a detailed instructions how to make a blanket using braid knitting technique in 4 easy steps.

 

1 STEP

Choose blanket width

Finished blanket width will be the same as the loop thread that you start knitting with. For this pattern you need to choose even number of loops.

Pour une couverture de 80 cm de large, comptez 50 boucles. Commencez à tricoter avec la 51ème.

 

2 STEP

First row

 

Commencez à travailler de droite à gauche. Pour le premier rang, utilisez un point de tricot simple. Travaillez toutes les mailles en tricot sur toute la longueur du premier rang.

 

3 STEP

Second row

In the second row start making braid. Start working from left to right. Cross first two stitches so that the stitch on the right would be over the one on the left. Knit them. Repeat it with remaining loops. Cross all stitches in the same way.

 

Répétez les 1er et 2ème rangs jusqu'à ce que vous atteigniez la longueur souhaitée.

 

4 STEP

Bind-off

Commencez à lier lorsque vous terminez le rang avec des points croisés. Liez de gauche à droite. Passez la 2ème maille à travers la 1ère et tirez vers le haut. Travaillez les autres mailles de la même manière.
